When you see a beatiful light streaming from the window and no one is there except you, your camera, your tripod and your Sekonic light meter.

Do A Self-Portrait!!!!

I was having withdrawal of not getting any portrait pictures while I was on vacation, my husband is not a cooperative model, so I was by myself in our room in London and he was at the shower, so I decided to take my own pictures...backlight is so hard when you do self portrait, with limited space, your creative composition will only be backlight in this kind of situation, thank goodness I have my light meter...I really haven't figure out how to use it well.

Okay, I know that the focus is not sharp, but this is the best thing I can do with this situation, I only have one window so the Aperture I can manage is F/2.8, smaller than that, my shutterspeed cannot manage it.

By the way, the next Light Workshop is on January 8, 2008. Please email Dee and/or Deb for more information. I'm so happy that they are still doing another one bec. I know that a workhshop is a lot of work aside from the photography business. I'm planning to join again during the winter but I have to look at the kids school schedule that time. It's August right now, we have enough time to save money and instead of shopping clothes, shoes and whatever, I think saving to join a workshop is a better....believe me, I am happy that I joined.

I can't really wait to visit blogsites again!!!!!! Nice to be Home!!!
