The Gossip

While I was taking her picture, H was listening to her Bestfriend talk, well, she's pretty either which way because the last 2 are stolen shots.

Okay, I'm going to spill the beans. I am in a workshop right now...http://www.photographybydetra.com/thelight/, that's why I was so frantic of learning how to shot wide open, since I know that the basic instruction for the workshop is opening wide on shooting.

What do I think about the workshop? My gosh, I am enjoying myself! so are the kids! they love knowing that I can take pictures any time of the day now. May it be mid-day, with sun up above. They were just so ecstatic about the idea.

I am a lover of backlight, 95% of my shots are backlight, and this workshop has explained the things that I was doing because before I get results that were in the workshop, but I never know or see the beauty of it till I joined the class.

Dee and Deb are absolutely amazing, they are honest, they just don't tell you, great job, I get one or 2 of it, but they always point out the mistake or needs improvement in a straight forward manner. I am more confident with my shots know, and kinda know how to identify on different kinds of light without getting frantic about it.

What's wonderful about it? It's 60 days! I don't have kids, and the kids that I borrow are usually from age 8 to 13, and you know that age, they kind of in a stage where they get grounded and the first thing that their parents tell them is "You can't go to Tiffany's house!", so there goes my subject. Having it for 60 days doesn't scare me at all since I have enough time to learn post processing, study notes, and observe light.

I hope that after this workshop, I hope to be a good representation of the class. Sorry I didn't told you about it, it's just the fact that I don't want a lot of pressure now, I now in my heart that somehow, I have improved, I see sun and I say:

Shine bright for me!!!!
