We're Slowing Down...

Busy Season is almost Over....I can't wait to reconnect with everyone...Such an amazing season for me...I just laid low in photography and enjoyed myself, no pressure, and now I'm loving the art more.

I know it's been a while!!!!

This baby was crying like crazy, like 3 hours of session and i thought we can't get a descent one...when I went home I cried and told my husband I don't want to have a baby yet!!!! LOL!

Vacation and lots of vacation, finally, we went to Paris and we got pickpocketted....our passport was stolen...it was a nightmare!!!! at least they didn't take our money...we can't complain about where we were stranded but it was Crazy....

No one told us that Europe has a lot of pickpoketters...actually they said Paris is worse...they replace 40 passports a day at the US Embassy...

for all that there is, it's still a beautiful country that I will suck it up...

Everytime I see

a huge window and is all glass, no wood at the middle, first thing I do is full exposure backlight....it's my addiction!!!!

Just To say...

I'm still alive and I miss everyone!!!!!

Nothing much to say but hopefully everyone is happy that school is back and you have a few alone moments for yourself...=)

I can't wait to blog hop and check on everyone...I can't believe portfolio building is like this!!!!

Angie, thanks for helping me out, I'll do the conversion when I get my winzip working...I joined the Light Workshop again this year, I just missed the mentoring that Dee does to me. I hope next year I can join again...

Wheewww!

How stupid can I be?

I booked 4 sessions within 1 week in May totalling to 8 kids, 2 families and a Prom. I almost killed myself! I didn't know how hard it is to portfolio build. I tell you, I will not do that again. Jen, this is for you, I know I still have to practice but it's a start.

Thank you for looking. Jen, I owe you big time!!! Thank you for always taking the time to help me out!

It's been Weeks!

That I got my camera out and played with light that I was so scared I might not have my mojo anymore, worse, I got an opportunity of taking picture of a pregnant woman which is a chance of a lifetime....

here are some...she was willing to bare it all but my mantra for all my pregnancy picture is that the mom can show the pictures to their kids without being scared of being judge...not everyone can be Demi Moore.

I will do anything for this girl...all the help she had given me, I will go an extra mile for her, funny part is this is the only time I have seen her so insistent...that baby is getting my girlie hyper!!! LOL, I think it's the withdrawal of the soda.

Famous Quirks...

1. When an outfit of mine has it's picture taken, I will never wear it again!!!! I just think that that's the rule, you can't let anyone think that you only have one outfit.


2. I don't like manicures, I have short nails, that's it...the last time I had my hand nail done was during my wedding and will have another one if I get my picture taken for my pregnancy.


3. I keep the bathroom sink clean, no clutter, only soap, towel and a clock, everything else is in a drawer.


4. I fix the bed no matter what! I don't care if I am late for work, the bed has to be made.


5. I need to have a tissue in my car and I always wipe my nose before I drive away from the house, for some reason I do.


6. I need to sit up every 45 minutes or less anywhere I am, I just can't sit still.

Before going to Sleep

I decided to post...it's funny because I just smoothen the skin and then voila...I got confuse bec. I was used to doing different process but everytime I do, the true beauty of the picture diminishes so I just decided to do one step...

Finally

Something from me, finally!!! I woke up at 3am and cleaned up the study so that I will have a clear mind before learning PPing and here you go...what's funny is that, I tend to learn how to PP and then I take a peak at my favorite blog and next thing you know I'm blog hopping and forgot that I am try to practice....but it's so much fun!!! Thanks so much for always inspiring me.

The One Time

And one time only, that the sun came out, and I am so happy that the girls were available...it was frigid, they were in a blanket while waiting turn...I'm just glad I'm not scared of the sun anymore bec. I took this one at 1pm!

Come on Spring, what's the delay!??!?!!? LOL!!! I miss all of you, girls..and thank you for taking the time to visit!

Still no Sun

and it's snowing every other day with temperature at -2 windchill? don't ask me anymore! I'm so sick of it!

Goodness, Come on Spring!!!!

It's cold outside, so I'm just revisiting my old ones and playing with it. I might as well practice my Pping. I use Dee's Goodies, at least this time I know what to do!!! Her Light workshop is starting again, so better save up, I'm excited to join the Summer class, I need sun and kids. It's buzzing right now. Just want to remind everyone to save, save, save! If you can't join this one which starts on Jan. 31, 2008, count 60days and the next one will open again. I assure you, it's worth it.

After the End of the Month

I am aiming on learning flash! I really promise myself this...its pitch black here at 5pm, I can't even do POTD...here's to new adventure, I just need to get my lazy hand out.

Megan, thanks so much for coming by and waking me up...I'm thinking about joining 2peas POTD or ILP's 366, just to get my groove back again, the winter is just horrible right now, and the girl that sits for me often is having stomach flu, so no pictures for me...I'm just busy studying photography, and hoping that when I get hold of my camera, my focus skill is still there...

Now, I'm practicing on PPing...Joy, I could not do the things you can do on your photos!!! I keep on reminding myself your advise, ask what else you can do, I guess I have to ask more, right? LOL!!! take care everyone!!!

Though I know it's not yet perfect because its a first try. I always wanted this background and a 1/3 rule composition everytime I pass this cornfield when snow covers it...It was a perfect timing when W sat for me!

Love it, she's a great sport, she's only 12 and already 5'7!

Everyone of you!!!! for all the inspiration...I come a long way...and I have to walk longer to come near where all you are. I don't know how you do it..being moms, being a photographer and just being you.

I was in a Rut!!!!

Gosh, and I thought that I won't get over it...I just surfed around...I guess it's the weather here in Illinois. I'm a sunny weather person and the weather here is just pulling me down...I miss California but I love my husband more!!! LOL!!!

So here are pictures from me...I'm practicing skin color so for the next few weeks I'm going to focus on that, and learn Flash I need to learn it, its so dark here in Illinois, not predictable at all.

I still Need to Perfect the

Dodge and Burn tool!!!! I didn't use any action on this one since everything I tried washes out the picture, so i just adjusted the level a tad, warm tool on the raw and burn the grass, and I think I burnt it too much!!! CC on this one one on how to...thanks!!!

I just like the light at the back making her hair flare!!!! =)

Got the 1.8 85MM Lens

It's heavy but my gosh, the bokeh that I get made me understand why a lot of people love this one...I need to buy the petal lenshood though, I get to many flares, good thing I know how to handle it now.

Now, I am dying to own a wide angle lens and do more group pictures...for my christmas list...hope everyone is making theirs, just to give Santa a heads-up! LOL!
